On Saturday, September 24th, twenty- eight dynamic young ladies from our GEMS Program along with twelve sorors from our Arts and Letters committee and four volunteers traveled to the Nations’ Capitol to experience the historical opening celebration of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
We hope this will be a lasting memory that will be etched in their minds for many years to come. When they look back over their lives years from now, they will share this experience with their families and can say we were a part of this historic moment.
